Ground Rules

Not included in the price (the final quoted price is subject to stipulated itinerary and adjustments):

Transport and accommodation outside safari dates (unless specified)
Visas, passports, air travel to and from Kenya, international airport departure taxes or fees
Extras in hotels or lodges,
Special activities or excursions not included in the itinerary
Tips

Changes to the planned itinerary may involve additional costs.
The full cost of any requested changes will be communicated to the client in writing and agreed by the client before such changes are made

The price includes all transport during the dates of the safari as described in the itinerary
Ground transport while on safari includes transport between locations, game drives and other trips that form part of the tour. We use customised safari vehicles, equipped for the terrain
Charter flights will only be operated by licensed pilots in aircraft licensed for carrying commercial passengers

The lodges visited are as specified in the personal itinerary
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the accommodation specified in the itinerary cannot always be guaranteed; every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that substitute accommodation is of a comparable standard to the original booking

Deposit of 40% is required to confirm a booking (bookings made within 70 days require full payment on booking).
Balance due 12 weeks prior to your safari commencement date.
Confirmation voucher will be issued only on receipt of 100% payment of booking.
Bookings may be lost if payment has not been received 70 days from safari commencement date.

All cancellations must be made in writing and are only effective on receipt of written notification.
Cancellation within 60 days of safari commencement date is chargeable at 100% of the total invoice value.
Peak/High Season/Christmas /New Year policy – 50% deposit required to confirm a booking, deposit refundable up to 15 October only.
Clients are required to take comprehensive travel insurance including medical evacuation to their home country upon confirmation of a booking in order that cancellations can be claimed in legitimate circumstances.

Once full payment or a deposit has been received, the following cancellation charges will be levied as a percentage of the total booking cost:

335 days or more to departure – Refund of deposit, less 5% of total for admin charges (except *high season)
Between 334 – 180 days – Loss of deposit (40%)
Between 179 – 120 days – 50% of total safari cost.
Between 119 – 61 days – 75% of total safari costs.
60 days or less – 100% of total safari costs.
