In the US Westminster Safaris is represented by Dr. Chris Tuite, who has been closely associated with Kenya all his life. By a fortunate accident of history, Chris was born in the town of Nyeri and spent the first four years of his life in nearby Nanyuki, both in the foothills of Mount Kenya.
Chris has spent his life working for conservation. He obtained his Ph.D. for a pioneering study of the ecology of flamingos on the lakes of East Africa and has worked for a range of leading international conservation organizations.
Since 2005 Chris has been working for The Green Belt Movement, which was founded and is run by Kenya’s best known public figure, Nobel Peace Laureate, Wangari Maathai. |
