There are times when I wonder whether this is classified as work as it’s so much fun. This photo was taken on a sunset cruise on a dhow off the coast of Kenya after spending time in Laikipia and the Maasai Mara. You can have the most amazing wildlife sightings, an incredible lodge, first class service and activities, but the key ingredient on safari is the people you’re with. This family must rank amongst the most fun and interesting I’ve had the pleasure to guide around Kenya, memories that will stay with me forever.
